چکیده

Sorghum halepense (L.) Pers. is a troublesome weed of maize which reproduces through seeds and rhizomes. Resistance to ACCase-inhibiting herbicides due target-site mutation Ile-Asn in position 2041 the ACCase gene was confirmed several populations Italy. The presence fitness costs related allelic variant Ile2041Asn has never been investigated ACCase-resistant S. . Three growth analyses pot experiments were performed starting from rhizome buds (Exp1 Exp3) or seed (Exp2). Plant development monitored throughout life cycle destructive samplings. responsible for resistance inhibitors detected all plants included using Cleaved Amplified Polymorphic Sequence method. Classical analysis multiple sampling Exp2) allometric relationships calculated different dry weight plant parts experiments. Allometric showed that susceptible (S) resistant (R) biotypes allocated biomass differently reproductive structures: S on average 30% more panicles, whereas R 12% rhizomes than populations. This evident when started buds. Reproductive allocation effort higher biotypes, respectively. production lower biotype can significantly impact evolution herbicide under continuous application with same mode action. A medium-long term management strategy implements appropriate soil tillage crop rotation taking into account attitude should be devised.

Resistance to ACCase-inhibiting herbicides in an Asia minor bluegrass (Polypogon fugax) population in China.

Asia minor bluegrass (Polypogon fugax) is a common annual grass weed of winter crops distributed across China. We conducted a study on the resistance level and the mechanism of resistance to ACCase-inhibiting herbicides in a P. fugax population from China. Whole-plant dose-response experiments in greenhouse showed that the resistant P. fugax population was 1991, 364, 269, 157, and 8-fold resist...

Broad Resistance to ACCase Inhibiting Herbicides in a Ryegrass Population Is Due Only to a Cysteine to Arginine Mutation in the Target Enzyme

BACKGROUND The design of sustainable weed management strategies requires a good understanding of the mechanisms by which weeds evolve resistance to herbicides. Here we have conducted a study on the mechanism of resistance to ACCase inhibiting herbicides in a Lolium multiflorum population (RG3) from the UK. METHODOLOGY/PRINCIPAL FINDINGS Analysis of plant phenotypes and genotypes showed that a...

Analysis of the Accase Mutation Profile of Italian Ryegrass (Lolium Perenne SSP. Multiflorum) Accessions Resistant to Accase Inhibitors

Lolium perenne ssp. multiflontm (Italian ryegrass) resistant to ACCase inhibiting herbicides has been reported in many wheat producing counties across Arkansas. Resistance is believed to be the result of point mutations creating amino acid substitutions in the CT domain of the plastidic ACCase gene. This study explores the occurrence of mutations in the A CCase gene of ryegrass populations. Pla...
